This article will assist customers with enrolling their Citrix account in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for the first time.

To log in to MyAccount, users must be listed as an active contact under a valid Citrix.com account or organization ID.

Note: This article does not apply to Workspace login or end-user company-specific cloud platform logins (e.g., companyname.(cloud).com).

Process flow:

Steps/Process	Instructions
Step 1: Sign in to Your Citrix Account	1. Go to www.citrix.com. 2. Click SIGN IN at the top of the page. 3. Enter your username and password, then click Sign In. 4. If you are facing issues signing in, Refer to Troubleshooting login issues on Citrix websites. 5. If you don’t have a Citrix account, contact Customer Service via Live Chat to create one.
Step 2: Begin MFA Enrollment	1. Click Enroll Now to start the MFA setup. Note: If this is not your first time enrollment to MFA, Please refer to Citrix Multifactor Authentication Troubleshooting.
Step 3: Verify Your Email	1. Ensure your account is linked to the correct email address. 2. Check your inbox for a 6-digit verification code sent to your registered email. (Check spam/junk mail box)
Step 4: Enter the Verification Code	1. Enter the 6-digit code received in your email. 2. Enter your Citrix account password. 3. Click Verify. 4. If you don’t receive the email, check your Spam folder and wait a few minutes. If needed, click Resend email.
Step 5: Choose Your MFA Method	Option 1: Authenticator App (Recommended) 1. Download an Authenticator App from your app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store). Recommended options: - Citrix SSO - Google Authenticator - Okta - Microsoft Authenticator 2. Open the authenticator app and tap the + (Add) option. 3. Scan the QR code displayed on your screen. If scanning isn’t possible, manually enter the provided key. 4. The app will generate a time-based 6-digit code. Enter this code and click Verify to Complete. Note: In you encounter TOTP/Incorrect code error notification, refer to Citrix Cloud MFA: Incorrect Code Error Option 2: Email Verification (Introduced in April 2023) 1. Choose Email Verification as your MFA method. 2. A one-time verification code will be sent to your registered email each time you sign in. 3. Enter the code and click Verify to Complete.
Step 6: Complete the Enrollment	- Once your MFA setup is complete, proceed to Setting Up Account Recovery Methods for MFA to ensure secure access in case of issues. ✅ You're all set! Your Citrix account is now protected with Multi-Factor Authentication.
