Description

When trying to add machines to a catalog in the Citrix DaaS manage page, on the "Machine Identities" page of the "Add machines" wizard, optionally, you can specify what the account names start with.

It is expected that the default account names set in the text were the number of maximum existing VDA machine IDs plus 1. However, sometimes, the default number was set exactly as the number of maximum existing VDA machine IDs.

For example, there were 5 existing VDAs. The account names start with should be set to 6. However, the account names start with was set to 5 instead of 6.

Resolution

If the starting number or letter is already in use, the first account created will be named using the most recent unused number or letter after that. Therefore, it can be ignored or the account name can be changed manually to start with the correct number.
