Resolution

1. Uninstall the Citrix Workspace App from the control panel

2. Reinstall the Citrix Workspace App without checking "Enable Application Protection".

3. After the installation, run the following command from the command prompt to check if the Application Protection feature is not installed.

sc query appprotectionsvc

This output indicates that it is not installed.

Problem Cause

The application protection feature works by controlling access to certain API calls to the underlying operating system.
To do this, the driver needs to be running in the background, which may cause conflicts with other third-party remote applications.
