Description
With Citrix User Profile Management (UPM) configuration Microsoft Edge browser does not retain saved credentials in subsequent login to VDI.
Resolution
Check and remove Edge related folders from Profile Management policy (Profile Management -> File system -> Exclusion list - directories).
You can validate in the registry of the VDA: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Citrix\UserProfileManager\SyncExclusionListDir\List

Problem Cause
Policy (Profile Management -> File system -> Exclusion list - directories) might have configured to exclude Edge related folders such as AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\
