Cloud Software Group has decided to end of sale (EOS) on October 11th, 2023, and end of renewal (EOR) on December 6th, 2023 all Citrix entitlements with hybrid rights (HR).  This change is designed to simplify our product line and deliver superior value and user experience to our customers.

Scope of Changes

• Customers owning Citrix DaaS with Hybrid Rights will be able to transition to Universal at renewal.
• Citrix DaaS assets with Hybrid Rights add-ons will be deactivated, and a new Citrix Universal License asset will be generated.

 

Proposed Solution

No specific action is required and transition will occur at the time of renewal.

• This transition will ensure an equivalent match, including editions.
• Net new purchases, expansions, and renewals that previously involved Hybrid Rights will now require the acquisition of Citrix Universal licenses.
• Active quotes will be honored unless any changes are made.
• Workspace Premium Plus [WSPP] assets with Hybrid Rights can be unbundled and transitioned to Universal or renewed as WSPP without Hybrid Rights until Dec 2025.

  All changes will become visible upon renewal into the Citrix Universal Subscription.

Impact and Outcome

• October 11th:  Customers owning Citrix DaaS assets with Hybrid Rights will be able to transition to one-to-one into Universal Licenses.
• December 6th:  Hybrid Rights add-ons will be deactivated and customers owning Citrix DaaS assets with Hybrid Rights add-ons can transition to Universal at renewal.  Hybrid Rights add-ons may be renewed through December 6th in order for a customer to retain their renewal pricing.  However, these assets can be transitioned to Universal Licenses at renewal.
