By default, the ICA files are stored on the local disk for Citrix Workspace app for Windows with the version prior to 2106. 
Citrix Workspace app for Windows with version 2106 or later change the storage policy of ICA files, which will be stored on memory by default. 
The default behavior can be changed with Register settings.

The ICA files can be stored either in files or memory via the settings below:

■ Disk ⇒ Memory
The below setting is to store ICA files in the memory.

Admin: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Citrix\Dazzle
User: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Dazzle

Name: EnableIcaFileInMemory
Type: String Value
Value: True
After setting, restart Citrix Workspace app.


■ Memory ⇒ Disk
The below setting is to store ICA files on disk.

After setting, restart Citrix Workspace app.
