syslog configuration on NetScaler only sends var/log/ns.log to outside syslog server.
This is expected behavior.
The below article illustrated that modifying /etc/syslog.conf and configuring syslog config as local5 on NetScaler, the syslog server will then receive respective logs from NetScaler. However, this is incorrect.
NetScaler only sends /var/log/ns.log to outside syslog server. Modifying the /etc/syslog.conf file to selectively send log files to outside syslog server is not possible.
