Description

HTML clipboard format could not be kept between the client machine and the VDA in ICA session.
When copying HTML format content e.g. from a web page from client machine or VDA, there is no "Keep Source Formatting" when attempting to paste it into Word or Excel on the counterpart.

Resolution

HTML format is disabled by default in clipboard redirection policy.
To enable this format:
  1. Add an entry for CF_HTML (and any other formats that you want supported) in "Client clipboard write allowed formats" and "Session clipboard write allowed formats" .
Note: 
  • "Client clipboard write allowed formats" does not apply if the Client clipboard redirection policy is set to Prohibited or the Restrict client clipboard write policy is set to Disabled.
  • "Session clipboard write allowed formats" does not apply if the Client clipboard redirection policy is set to Prohibited or the Restrict session clipboard write policy is set to Disabled.

Problem Cause

HTML format is disabled by default in clipboard redirection policy.
