ChsIME.exe process shows high CPU usage(almost 100%) constantly after VDA upgraded from 2203CU2 to 2203CU3, which causes Input Method Manager unable to function normally on VDA, the issue can be resolved by killing ChsIME.exe manually from task manager, but will reproduce quickly.

Resolution

Modify "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service" Startup type to Manual

Problem Cause

Microsoft known issues: Some Input Method Editor (IME) may become unresponsive or may have high CPU usage. Affected IMEs include Chinese Simplified (ChsIME.EXE) and Chinese Traditional (ChtIME.EXE) with Changjie/Quick keyboard.
