Description
To reproduce error:
- login to Store Front, and launch Desktop
- New application window opens shows "Notice - Proprietary System" screen. Click OK.
- Desktop launch begins: Starts to spin and login the user, "Please wait for Citrix Profile Management"
- "Preparing Windows" and then goes to a black screen.
- Back to a blue screen with "Signing out." and the window closes.
Resolution
- Check for Profile errors on the Event Viewer of the VDA
- Example: error reported by User Profile Service (error code 1512).
- If you see Profile related errors, it means there are corrupted folders present in the user profile.
- Remove the corrupted user profiles or delete the corrupted user profile folders.
- Reset the profile.
