Description

To reproduce error:

  1. login to Store Front, and launch Desktop
  2. New application window opens shows "Notice - Proprietary System" screen. Click OK.
  3. Desktop launch begins: Starts to spin and login the user, "Please wait for Citrix Profile Management"
  4. "Preparing Windows" and then goes to a black screen.
  5. Back to a blue screen with "Signing out." and the window closes.

Resolution

 
  1. Check for Profile errors on the Event Viewer of the VDA
    • Example:  error reported by User Profile Service (error code 1512).
  2. If you see Profile related errors, it means there are corrupted folders present in the user profile.
  3. Remove the corrupted user profiles or delete the corrupted user profile folders.
  4. Reset the profile.
