When trying to import a GPO into WEM console in Citrix Cloud Web console, users get an error stating "Invalid ZIP file. Replace your file and try again".

Resolution

There are multiple types of zip files you can upload which are different from each other:

GPO backup: this zip contains backup.xml, backupinfo.xml, etc. The zip you show above is exactly this type. To import this zip, navigate to "registry based", "import".

Reg files: this zip contains several .reg files. To import this zip, navigate to "registry based", "import"

GPO templates: . this zip contains *.admx & *.adml files. To import this zip, navigate to "template based", "manage templates". Note: the template files are not GPOs, just a list of UI component definitions, which are not like the others.

You need make sure you are importing from Registry-based in WEM cloud console if GPO are zipped files containing GPO Backups or Reg files. 

If you are importing .admx & *.adml files, then you need to import via the template based option in the WEM console under "Group Policy Settings".
