Description
When attempting to create a vDisk, the Imaging Wizard gets as far as requiring a reboot, but after the restart returns the error 'Imaging wizard did not restart'.
Resolution
Instead of running the Imaging Wizard, on the VM to be imaged, go to C:\Program Files\Citrix\Provisioning Services, and run P2PVS.
On the "Start by choosing the source and destination of the workload" page, select -
From: This machine
To: Virtual Hard Disk v2 (VHDX)
On the next page leave the defaults and click "Next".
When prompted to chose a folder to store the VHDX, enter the UNC path to the PVS server vDisk store.
Confirm that the process completes and a disk has been created in the store.
In the PVS console, import the new vDisk from the store, then set it to Standard Mode, Cache in RAM with Overflow.
Run the Citrix Virtual Desktops Setup Wizard to create a machine or machines to use with vDisk.
