Problem Cause

When does DaaS become inactive?

Citrix DaaS customers will encounter the "Enable DaaS to create Apps and Desktops"
message indicating their service has been turned off due to inactivity if the following
criteria are true for 15 days:

  • 0 cloud connectors set up
  • 0 VDAs set up

How do I keep my environment active?

Citrix DaaS must have at least 1 VDA machine powered-on and registered once a week

Stay active by installing VDAs and Cloud Connectors. Refer to resources below for
instructions on how to perform installation of required components and deployment
plan.

How does Subscription License Renewals impact my environment?

Any new licenses (renewals or net new) will trigger this behavior so that the admin can commit the licenses to the environment. .
