Description
After logging in to the store URL, users want to launch and login to their published desktop using different user name and password credentials than what was entered when logging into the store.
When different credentials are entered in the Windows logon screen, the ICA connection then drops.
When checking event viewer logs on the VDA machine, we see Event ID 7 : ICA Connection request denied because the current user, is not the owner of the Session.
Resolution
This is by design.
There is a check to prevent any user from taking over another user's session, this is why the ICA connection drops when you enter the credentials of a different user than what was entered when logging in to the store as this is a security concern. This is by design and there is no configurable control over it.
You would need to log into Storefront with the account you want to log into the desktop with so the session is brokered for that user.
