Description

Workspace is prompting connection interrupted

We also observe this in the following scenario:

  • Users appear to have latency issues and connection interrupts.
  • The problem is happening only with users from a specific geo, e.g. users connecting to the same resource from different geo-location are able to connect fine and do not experience interruption.
  • Session goes in hung state on the client-side and appears to re-connect back.
  • Re-connection can happen multiple times on end-users' side.
  • Issue was seen to be happening for both - internal and external users.
  • Resources are located in different geo other than where the users are located.

Resolution

The problem was caused because of Zscaler proxy tunnel.
We requested Zscaler configuration on the client-side to bypass/whitelist traffic hitting to global.g.nssvc.net traffic.

Additional Information

It is also important to make sure the backend resources i.e. the VDA and cloud connectors also follow the network and firewall requirements.

Please refer to the following article and make sure the recommendations are in place and the FQDNs are whitelisted.
