Description

During the ICA multi-session,  the frame rate is only 30 FPS and cannot reach 60 FPS, although the Citrix policy "Target frame rate" is set to 60.
User access to windows 10 VDA can reach 60 FPS.

Resolution

1.Start Registry Editor.
2.Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations
3.On the Edit menu, click New, and then click DWORD(32-bit) Value.
4.Type DWMFRAMEINTERVAL, and then press Enter.
5.Right-click DWMFRAMEINTERVAL, click Modify.
6.Click Decimal, type 15 in the Value data box, and then click OK. This sets the maximum frame rate to 60 frames per second (FPS).
7.Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.


Problem Cause

There is a frame rate limit in a remote session on windows server.

Issue/Introduction

Add the related registry on windows server to reach 60 FPS.
