Description

• The customer created a test Machine Catalog using Multipoint Communication Services (MCS) with only one Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA) and published Chrome, Calculator, and a Desktop
• When attempting to launch any app, the progress popup comes up and closes out immediately with no errors
• When launching the Desktop, the CDViewer shows up for a few seconds and closes out
• If trying again, he may get an error ‘The remote session was disconnected because there are no Terminal Server License Servers available to provide a license’

Resolution

Add the new VDA to an Organizational Unit (OU) that gets the Group Policy Object (GPO) indicating the Remote Desktop Services (RDS) License server and RDS mode. 

Problem Cause

New VDA was not linked to the GPO that applies the RDS License server and mode
