• Network tab in Director is blank when viewed in Google Chrome or Edge Chromium.
• Issue happens only when using the NetScaler Load Balanced URL for  Director.
• When using the direct URL for Director server, the content is displayed.
• When the same NetScaler Load Balanced URL  for Director is viewed in IE, the Network tab content is displayed.

Internet Explorer

• Modify the site settings in Edge browser to allow insecure content to be displayed.
• To make the change Open Settings -> Click Cookies and Site permissions -> Select Insecure Content -> Add the Director LB URL under Allow
• You can also directly type the following edge://settings/content/insecureContent in the address bar and it will take you to the settings directly.
• After modifying the setting please ensure to close and reopen the browser as the changes do not take effect until then.
• Now we can see the Network tab properly.

• Same setting is applicable for Google Chrome browser.
• To make the change Open Settings -> Click Security and Privacy -> Click Site Settings -> Click Additional content settings -> Select Insecure Content -> Add the Director LB URL under Allowed to show insecure content
• You can also directly type the following chrome://settings/content/insecureContent in the address bar and it will take you to the settings directly.
• After modifying the setting please ensure to close and reopen the browser as the changes do not take effect until then.

Problem Cause

• This issue is caused to due to the browser security settings which by default block mixed content ( secure and unsecure ). When mixed content is blocked, you may see a blank page or a message saying that “Only secure content is displayed”.
• In this case the direct URL of the Director server was on HTTP hence there was no issue with the content visibility on any browser. The Load Balanced URL on the other hand was using HTTPS hence Edge and Chrome were blocking the insecure content.
• IE on the other hand had mixed content enabled in the settings.
