While using the PVS console and right clicking on a PVS Server node to "show connected devices" or by right clicking on the vDisk and choosing "show usage" the console has been known to crash and not display the requested information.  You may be presented with an error that the maximum size quota for incoming messages (594244) has been exceeded.  This behavior is not consistent and requires a large number of target devices to hit the maximum message size limit.  CDF traces located in c:\programdata\citrix\provisioning services\logs\aot can quickly help you identify this error.

Problem Cause

This problem began from the change to increase the Linux Target AdPassword field from 256 max to 3076 max characters.  Citrix has corrected this behavior in a Private Hotfix that is currently available.
