This article guides users through the process of renewing the VPP token in Citrix Endpoint Management and XenMobile. The workflow remains consistent for both on-premises and cloud platforms.
1. Log in to Apple Business Manager (ABM).
2. Navigate to “Preferences” > “Payments and Billing” > “Apps and Books” > “Server Tokens.”
3. Download the renewed VPP token.
4. Open the downloaded file in a text editor (e.g., Notepad)
*The VPP token text file should not contain any headers. If 'Content' headers are present, the wrong token was generated. Go back to step 2 and ensure the "VPP" token is downloaded.
5. Log in to your Citrix Endpoint Management or XenMobile console.
6. Go to “Settings” > “Volume Purchase.”
7. Edit the VPP Token entry.
8. Paste the token content into the “Company Token” field.
*Ensure no extra characters or spaces otherwise, you will receive a warning.
9. Re-enter username and password.
10. Click 'Save" for the token window.
11. Click the second "Save" below the configuration page.
