Description
Two master images were deleted at the hypervisor level and now they lost management for existing MCS catalogs
Resolution
- Citrix doesn’t offer solutions to recover deleted data and for MCS catalogs, the information about the master image stored in the VDAs or catalog, is not sufficient to recreate the master image
- The best recommendation is to try recovering the missing VMs from the hypervisor storage or the storage solution they are using
- In the worst case scenario, if they cannot recover the VMs they will need to create the master images from scratch
