PVS write cache is getting redirected to the server

Meet the following conditions: 

1.Make sure the pagefile is smaller than the cache disk. (Don’t leave it set to System managed size.)
2.The cache disk must be a Basic disk, not Dynamic.
3 Format the cache disk with NTFS
4. For the target device , Set sufficient RAM.

Instructions

During provisioning using the CVAD setup wizard, the write cache does failover to server side cache to format the local drive for use as cache drive. Once formatted, the target will use the local drive for cache on the next boot.

It is normal to observe the write cache entries being created on the Vdisk store.

On the subsequent reboot of the machines, it will not be written to server cache.
