Citrix Workspace app 2006.1 for Windows takes long time to launch ICA session, comparing to Citrix Workspace app 1912 for Windows.
In a Fiddler trace captured during session launch, you will see wfica32 attempting to connect to locus.analytics.cloud.com:443 but failing.

Create below registry key on client machine to disable the request.

DWORD SendPublicIp

Problem Cause

Citrix Workspace app 2006.1 for Windows will connect to locus.analytics.cloud.com:443 before launching a session to get the public IP for the client.
If the client machine does not have access to locus.analytics.cloud.com:443, Workspace app will wait for a timeout, which will increase the session launch time.
