Unable to launch Remote PC Access VDA and receive "Cannot Start Desktop" error message.
Resolution
Try one of the following suggestions to resolve this issue:
- Previous logons or ghosted sessions could cause failed Remote PC Access VDA launches. This is usually fixed by performing a daily reboot.
- Please review the technical requirements and considerations to reduce the need to reboot on a daily basis.
- Review the event log viewer under the Application log for Event ID 3300’s for additional details
Problem Cause
It could be caused by a lingering session, ghosted session that did not log off properly, or currently logged in locally on the physical machine.
