Note:- Starting with app version 20.3.0, the Citrix Workspace app for Android will not allow access to the stores configured with Untrusted Certificate on mobile, tablet or chrome devices.

In earlier versions, the Untrusted Certificate Warning appeared when accessing the store with Untrusted Certificate. Clicking Trust option allowed access to the store.

Now, the Certificate Warning is displayed without the Trust option as shown below,

Note:- This is an important update to the secure access of stores in Citrix Workspace app for Android. Untrusted Certificates may indicate an attempt to intercept the data you sent to the server.

Resolution

This issue is caused by an untrusted certificate.
If you are a System Administrator, you must:

  • Verify the validity of the CA
  • Verify the CAs are trusted in the client device
  • For Client devices with proxy enabled, Verify whether the TLS proxy roots are not untrusted/ missing in the client device
  • Verify whether the CA is outdated in Citrix Gateway
  • Verify the certificate binding at the Citrix Gateway

If you are a user who is experiencing this issue, contact your organization’s system administrator for assistance.
