Instructions

A. How to find the hostname of the license server (Windows / VPX) while installing licenses on the license server

1. Login to the license server
2. Go to the command prompt
3. Run the command hostname

B. How to find the Hostid/MAC Address of the license server while installing licenses on the license server

1. Login to the license server
2. Go to the command prompt
3. Run the command "lmutil lmhostid"

C. How to find the MAC address of Citrix ADC

1. Login to Putty
2. Run the command "shell"
3. Run "lmutil lmhostid"

D. How to find the MAC address of Citrix ADM

1. Login to the ADM appliance
2. Go to Infrastructure > Pooled Licensing 
3. Copy the host id which is found under License Files 

E. How to find the MAC address of Citrix SDWAN

1. Login to the NetScaler SDWAN
2. Go to Configuration - Appliance settings -  Licensing - Host ID is found
3. Copy the license server host id 


F. How to find the hostname of the Citrix Gateway 

1. Login to Citrix Gateway using Winscp
2. Go to root > nsconfig > rc.conf
3. Copy the hostname

Note : Create new rc.conf file, if it  doesn't exists and enter the hostname in the below format.
"hostname " __________ " 

G. How to find the hostname on XenMobile 10.x server from the zdm helper.

1. After logging in XenMobile server the URL ends with /zdm/console/ now change this to /zdm/helper.jsp (http(s)://<mdm fqdn>/zdm/helper.jsp) to open the XenMobile MDM Helper page

2. Click on Read Raw Props and search for Self 

• The XM FQDN will be mentioned at the bottom and that would be the host name

3. If the search by "self" does not work, Click on Read Raw and search "mdm.https.host"

• Use the case sensitive hostname to allocate / reallocate the XenMobile license and install it locally on the XenMobile Device Manager console.
