Description
Other subnet's resources outside the NSIP subnet become unavailable. Specific Vservers/services would show UP but cannot be accessed until 3-5 minutes, after the failover.
Resolution
- Configured VMACs for each relevant interface
- In Vmware Virtual Machine settings, enabled promiscuous mode
- In VMware Virtual Machine settings, enabled forged transmits
Problem Cause
A combination of L2 issues with mis-configuration on the ADC and VMware Virtual Machine Settings
