Error: You have not chosen to trust CA <CA Name> error 183

Resolution

  • Install the root certificate and enable manual trust.
 
  • The certificate can be installed by obtaining it from a web browser, left to the URL, there is usually a lock icon. Click the icon, navigate to the "Certification Path" tab, double click the certificate at the top of the chain, details, copy to file, search for the saved certificate. Move it to the device by sending it to your own email or other method. Download the file and install it.
 
  • To enable manual trust go to: Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings. Under "Enable full trust for root certificates," turn on trust for the certificate.
 
  • Launch the app.

Problem Cause

iOS requires manual trust to be enabled for user installed certificates.
