Resolution
Execute this PowerShell commands on one of the Delivery Controller
Add-PSSnapin Citrix*
Update-BrokerNameCache -Machines
Add-PSSnapin Citrix*
Update-BrokerNameCache -Machines
Problem Cause
Normally, the broker will eventually poll and locate the DNS name.
We see the name missing / blank or a "-" for an active session in Studio, when the controller queries the AD about the DNS and SAM name for the SID, the machine didn't have that information in AD (or on the AD server that was queried).
