Description
The host name of the endpoint is not being passed through in a Citrix double-hop session to an application.
Environment
Caution! Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that might require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. Be sure to back up the registry before you edit it.
Resolution
On the first hop desktop VDA.
- Create the following key under Citrix,
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Citrix\SessionStateMonitor
- In the SessionStateMonitor key, create the below registry,
Name: EnablePassthroughCommands
Type: REG_SZ
Value Data: 1
- Then create the following key under ICA Client,
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432node\Citrix\ICA Client\Pass Through
- After, create the following registry within the new Pass Through key:
Name: PASS THROUGH
Type: REG_DWORD
Value Data: 1
Problem Cause
Endpoint hostname is not being passed through a double-hop scenario.
Issue/Introduction
The host name of endpoint is not being passed through to double hop application.
