The following are known issues with Windows Server 2019 on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 1808:

• Windows 2019 published desktop cannot be locked through start menu or Ctrl+Alt+Del. [HDX-15327]
• When a seamless application is closed, sessions are left in disconnected state on the Virtual Apps server and continue to show as “Active” in Studio with “Application not running” Application State. [HDX-16230]
• Session roaming fails intermittently displaying “Element not found” error. [HDX-15331]
• When using Smart Card authentication, users are not prompted for a PIN when reconnecting to a disconnected session but instead are automatically logged on. [HDX-16258]
• Microphone is mapped to the session but does not work.
  • Workaround 1:
    • Within the Citrix session navigate to Start Menu > Settings > Privacy > Microphone
    • Toggle on “Allow apps to access your microphone”
  • Workaround 2:
    • Enable the “Let Windows apps access the microphone” setting via GPO under Administrative Templates > Windows Components > App Privacy
• Grey screen appears when trying to reconnect to a disconnected session on Windows Server 2019 Virtual Apps server.
