How to properly bind WEM agent machines with WEM broker server on a first time setup

This article explains how to properly bind the WEM agent machines to the WEM broker server on a first time setup of the Citrix Workspace Environment Management product.
Instructions
- Copy the .ADMX template and en-US folder included in the WEM installation folder and paste them into the PolicyDefinitions folder on the Domain Controller (commonly located under C:/Windows/sysvol/..., otherwise under C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions).
- Launch the Group Policy Management Console and create a new policy with any desired name related to WEM.
- Navigate to Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Citrix > Workspace Environment Management > Agent Host Configuration.
- Edit Infrastructure server setting on the right pane in case of on premise WEM.
- In case of WEM on Cloud edit Citrix Cloud Connectors.
- Enable the setting, enter the FQDN of the WEM broker server and click OK.
- Link the policy to the OU where all the WEM agent machines are contained.
- Go to the WEM broker server and launch the WEM admin console.
- Select the correct Configuration Set (aka Site) where you want to add the machines.
- Go to Active Directory Objects > Machines and add either the OU or individual machines objects in the right pane.
- Start booting up the machines and open the registry on any of them and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Norskale\Agent Host\.
- On the right pane you should see the registry "BrokerSvcName" containing the FQDN of the WEM broker or CloudConnectorList containing the FQDN of Cloud Connectors which will confirm that the configured before is successfully applied.
- If the WEM broker server is communicating properly with the Domain Controller server, the agent machines will start to show up in the WEM admin console under Administration > Agents > Registration tab.
- If the agent machines are properly registered, then they will should show up under Administration > Agents > Statistics tab as well.
