Instructions

Uploading license file on SDX/MPX GUI

1. In a web browser, enter the IP address of the SDX/MPX appliance and log in with the administrator credentials.

2. Click the Configuration tab.

3. Navigate to System > Licenses > Manage Licenses.

4. Click Upload License Files.

5. Click Browse and navigate to the location of the downloaded license file.

6. Select the license file and click Open

7. Click Apply to apply the license.

How to allocate license using the hardware serial number or the license activation code

1. In a web browser, enter the IP address of the SDX/MPX appliance and log in with the administrator credentials.

2. Navigate to System > Licenses on the Configuration tab,

3. Under Update Licenses, select Use Hardware or Use License Activation Code.

• Use Hardware Serial Number - The software will internally retrieve the serial number of the appliance's serial number and use it to allocate the license(s) from the licensing portal.

• Use License Activation Code - Enter License Activation Code in the text box. 

      5. Click Get Licenses. Depending on the option selected, one of the following dialog boxes appears:

• Hardware Serial Number was selected.

• License Activation Code was selected

       6. Select license to allocate, and click Get.
       7. Click Apply for the license to take effect.
