Step to follow to collect Remote CDF tracing

HOW TO COLLECT REMOTE CDF TRACING

• Download  Citrix CDFControl Tool  http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX111961  
• Run CDF control  as administrator on the  machine from which you will collect Remote CDF  from  VDA
• Select Options.

• Specify the Multiple Sequential Logs to 50 MB or More
• Select Trace fle path for capturing trace

• Go to Tools > Remote Tracing

• Enter the VDA’s FQDN ( make sure the Remote Registry service is started on the VDA)

• Add the VDA and select all modules 
• Enter remote machine name or IP and add it to selected targets
• Start tracing

• Launch published app  or desktop to reproduce the issue

• Capture the issue with correct timestamps and then Stop the tracing and clcik Finish
• Collect trace file  from  CDFControl_Remote_Traces directory (selected in above Trace fle path or in the same folder as CDFControl executable)

Contextual Information in DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS  format
Time the traces started

Time the traces stopped

Time the issue happened

Username for session:
