Description
Unable to connect to session recording server from the console - error: Unable to connect to the session recording server. ensure that the session recording server is running. Unable to load site configuration. The Underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.
Resolution

As an administrator, log on to the server that hosts the Session Recording Server.

From start menu, select Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > IIS manager.

In the left pane, expand the servername node > Sites > Default Web Site > SessionRecordingBroker.

Click Session RecordingBroker and double click SSL Settings in Features View tab.

In the SSL Settings page, disable the Require SSL check box.

Apply changes and connect to the broker from the console.
Problem Cause
Session recording was not properly configured to utilize HTTPS . Caused communication issue between the Session Recording Console and the Session Recording Broker.
