When using a MAC device and Receiver for MAC 12.x, end user is unable to print to her local USB HP Color Laserjet MFP M477 from her published 2012 R2 VDA desktop when using applications like Word and Outlook. The same user is able to print to her local session printers. Issue only occurs with this USB printer attached to her MAC computer.

1. Follow CTX140208 - Client printing from Mac and Linux clients on Windows 10, Server 2012 R2, and Server 2016 .

2. Install the HP Laserjet 2800 Series PS" driver into the SVDA

3. Add the following Studio printer policy setting: "Printer driver mapping and compatibility" Driver Name: "HP Color Laserjet MFP M477" replace with "HP Laser Jet 2800 Series PS" driver
   
   Note: Names of both printers are case sensitive, make sure to match the printer driver names as you see them in the Printer properties of the VDA and end point device

Problem Cause

Missing the Studio Printing policy setting: "Printer driver mapping and compatibility" Driver Name: "HP Color Laserjet MFP M477" replace with "HP Laser Jet 2800 Series PS drive".
