Host to client Content Redirection not working even after following the product documentation.

Resolution

Configure the XML file indicated in the documentation and test.
Note that, if you are launching a web-based application, which means, IE is already running on the session host/VDA, so Host to client redirection will not work.

"Host to client redirection is not used for URLs in a web browser (either in a webpage or typed in the address bar of the web browser)." - Citrix Product Documentation - Host to client redirection .

Problem Cause

User was missing the XML file.
