Basic enrollment - It allows a device to be enrolled by only requiring the user to enter the credentials once into SecureHub.Advance enrollment - It requires the user to enter their credentials 2 times. Once right after the DEP device receives the profile from Apple and then a second time within SecureHub.
By using the require enrollment switch setting in the DEP configuration you change the type of enrollment.
In simple terms,
Basic DEP: During the setup assistant, the initial enroller is the default DEP user. Then, it is the final user after MAM registration with SH app (iOS agent).
Authorized DEP: In this case, it is the final user who is directly the enroller during the setup assistant.
