Support for enrollment and management of Chromebook devices is available in XenMobile Service 10.18.1 and later. Chromebook devices running Chrome OS 46 and later are supported. For more information please see the product documentation.

How is Secure Hub installed on the Chromebook device?

Secure Hub is installed as a browser extension. Before enrolling Chromebook devices, you will need to configure G Suite for Chromebook enrollment. The configuration forces installation of the Secure Hub extension on the Chromebook device and ensures that the extension cannot be disabled or deleted.

What are the values for the Connection Scheduling Policy?

When configuring the scheduling policy, N equals 10 minutes. By default, the policy is set to 2, which means the device will check in every 20 minutes.

What types of authentications are supported for Chromebooks?

Only User Name and Password authentication is supported with Chromebook devices.
 
What is the purpose of the Pin prompt presented during Chromebook enrollment?

This pin secures the device certificate that is pushed down from XenMobile Server.  The pin is 6 alphanumeric characters and it is a mandatory step.
Important note:  This pin prompt does not relate to the Passcode policy on XenMobile Server.

How long after enrollment, are policies pushed to the device?

There is a 30 second delay after enrollment before the policy push initiates. This is to allow all services to complete initialization before the policy push begins.
