Partial Asset Visibility Is Now Retired

For your convenience, Partners who previously had “view assigned” (partial asset visibility) rights now have “view all” (full asset visibility) rights (also known as Renewal Partners). If you wish to add or remove Renewal Partners, please review your options below and take action now.

Why is Citrix making these changes to the visibility rights?

Citrix aims to ensure that Partners are able to quote customers on all relevant and all required assets during a renewal event. Today, due to the limited visibility rights, many Partners are not in a position to provide their customers with a quote that shows all assets required for a Select renewal, resulting in a customer becoming noncompliant with the Citrix Customer Success Program rules and having their support access disabled, albeit a just recently completed renewal. To avoid such situations in the future and increase overall customer satisfaction, only Partners with full visibility (also known as “Renewal Partners”) will be able to engage during a renewal event. Citrix also believes by making that change to improve the overall renewal process significantly, allowing a more streamlined and unified renewal experience for Customers and Partners alike.


Instructions

Changing Partner Visibility Settings in MyAccount on citrix.com

  1. Option 1 – Add a Renewal Partner. Partner will have visibility to all of the customer’s assets and can create a renewal quote for the customer.

  2. Option 2 – Remove a Renewal Partner. Partner will have no visibility into the customer’s assets and therefore cannot create a renewal quote for the customer.

Option 1 - Add a Renewal Partner

  1. Open a web browser and type in the URL below or click the hyperlink: 
    https://www.citrix.com/account/

  2. Log in with your Citrix credentials to access the MyAccount page

  3. Scroll down until you see "Renew and Manage Maintenance Programs" on the left-hand side and then click the link

  4. Scroll up until you see the "Manage Renewal Partners" link and then click on the link

  5. Click the "Add renewal partner" button

  6. Performing the following steps:

    1. If you wish to search for partners within a certain country, click the "Country" dropdown menu and select the desired country. Depending on the country you select, this may also display a "State" field which you can search.

    2. If you wish to search for a partner by name or Org ID then click the "Name" search box and type in a partner's name or Org ID

    3. Once you are done entering your criteria, you can then either click "All" to generate all results or click "Transacted" to only generate partners you have transacted with in the past

  7. Click the "+" button to add a renewal partner. You can add one or more renewal partners.

  8. The recently added renewal partner(s) will be displayed in the list

Option 2 - Remove a Renewal Partner

  1. Open a web browser and type in the URL below or click the hyperlink:

  2. Log in with your Citrix credentials to access the MyAccount page

  3. Scroll down until you see "Renew and Manage Maintenance Programs" on the left-hand side and then click the link

  4. Scroll up until you see the "Manage Renewal Partners" link and then click on the link

  5. Click the "X" button next to the renewal partner that you would like to remove. You can remove one or more renewal partners.

  6. A pop-up will appear requesting confirmation to remove the renewal partner. Click the "OK" button.

  7. The list will show that the renewal partner is no longer there:

As partial Asset Visibility is being retired, Customers must take action in “MyAccount” on citrix.com to confirm asset visibility changes.
