Description
After any changes in hardware configuration of template used to create target device , target devices start getting prompt "You must restart your computer to apply these changes" when booting from the same vDisk.

Resolution
- Create a new version for the specific vDisk.
- Boot target device under maintenance mode.
- Disable Antivirus , back up software so they cannot interfere with OS operation.
- Perform several reboot to allow OS to save new CPU configuration.
- Make sure reboot warning sign does not appear again.
- Promote maintenance mode to production mode for specific vDisk.
Additional InformationAlways check setupaip.dev.log under C:\windows\inf directory about device installation in a plain-text log file to check if there is any new device installation or to troubleshoot device installation problems.
Problem Cause
Different hardware configuration (processor) between template VM and the target devices.
A change in the underlying Hypervisor host, that included a new CPU model or processor, was forcing the Operating System on the Targets to request a reboot.
Issue/Introduction
"You must restart your computer to apply these changes" occurs on every target device booting from the same vdisk. But this warning doesn't exist on the template VM.
