Description

If the following Citrix Policies are configured, the session connections are being dropped with Receiver for HTML5 without any error messages.

  • Legacy graphics Mode = Enabled
  • Maximum allowed color depth < 32 Bits Per Pixel

Resolution

Change the Maximum allowed color depth setting.
  • Set 16 Bits Per Pixel or higher for Windows Server 2008R2.
  • Set 32 Bits Per Pixel for Windows Server 2012R2/2016.

Problem Cause

This is known issue caused by the Maximum allowed color depth for a Citrix Policy being lowered from the default setting of 32bit.
