Description

While running UPM 5.8 in a Windows 32-bit OS, customer may suffer a periodical UserProfileManger.exe crash, every 7 days exactly. Windows Application Event will log event 1000 for that crash with exception code 0xc0000005, which indicates memory Access Violation.

Resolution

The corresponding Hotfix has been included in UPM 7.15 LTSR release. It is recommended to upgrade UPM to version 7.15.
For environments still using UPM 5.8 but don't plan a upgrade temporarily, please contact Citrix Support to get a private fix, or disable CEIP feature as a temporary workaround by following https://docs.citrix.com/pt-br/profile-management/5/upm-customer-experience-improvement-program.html.

Problem Cause

While UPM 5.8 is running in a 32-bit Windows OS, time format of CEIP (Customer Experience Improvement Program) data sending is incorrectly wrapped.
