Description

When installing or upgrading to XenApp 7.14 or XenDesktop 7.14, the following issues maybe encountered:

  • During the upgrade process a “Trust Service Schema” error may be encountered, terminating the upgrade and leaving the XenApp/XenDesktop site inoperable.
  • Post upgrade, the Central Configuration Service will prompt an alert in Director. However, this may be ignored as it will not impact Site operations.
  • In some cases, applications may fail to launch, the Receiver will login but not move past the “launching application” stage when using the 7.14 VDA.
  • When deploying a “Write Back Cache enabled for Azure” catalog, the VDAs may fail to register with the broker.

To resolve any potential issues, please download the new XenApp and XenDesktop 7.14.1 now available at https://www.citrix.com/downloads/xenapp-and-xendesktop/.
If you have already installed the 7.14 ISO or VDA package, please refer to 7.14 product documentation for more information or the articles in Additional Resources. 
If you have not yet installed the original version, please use the 7.14.1 version instead.
