Description
In previous releases, the Microsoft One Note and XPS Document Writer drivers were automatically mapped in every session, which is not required for all environments. Starting in XenApp and XenDesktop 7.14, these two drivers are now prevented from being mapped by default. This article contains information on how to enable the auto-creation of the Microsoft One Note and XPS Document Writer printers in application or desktop sessions.
Instructions
- Use the Group Policy Editor in Windows or Citrix Studio to create a new or edit an existing policy.
- In the Printing section of the policy, navigate to Client Printers.
- Select the Printer driver mapping and compatibility policy.
- Select the printer you want to auto-create and click Edit.
- To enable the printer to be auto-created in a session, select Allow.
- Apply and prioritize the policy as required.
