Users unable to open an application from the pinned taskbar icons

Resolution

  1. Remove AppData\Roaming from Exclusion list - Directories, if its added in the policy.
  2. Add the below path to Directories to Synchronize: 
AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned 

Problem Cause

AppData\Roaming is in the List of Exclusion Directories for Synchroization
