Issue:
User cannot connect to anonymous store without username and password.
Steps To Reproduce The Issue on Receiver 4.4
- Create a Store for Unauthenticated users in StoreFront 3.0.
- Confirm that Advertised is set to No for this store
- Install Receiver 4.4.
- Add the Store URL for the Unauthenticated Store.
- Store add fails. Replace Receiver 4.4 with 4.3 and the Store is added as expected.
Resolution
This is a “Design Change” in Receiver 4.4. Follow the below steps to add the store:
1. Set the store to “Advertised” first.
2. Then Hide the store.
3. Now the “Unauthenticated” users will be able to add the store in Receiver.
Problem Cause
This is a “Design behavior" in Receiver 4.4.
