Resolution
- Check URL at https://www.digicert.com/help and make sure that the chain is good.
- You may also check the URL using the SSL Checker at https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html
- If there is a problem with a certificate, in this case the root certificate, do the following:
- Open Key chain access and click System Roots keychain
- Navigate to "Certificates" category on the left pane select DigiCert Global Root G2 and open the certificate to verify the serial number.

- Compare the serial number in root certificate in SSL Shopper SSL Checker Tool.
- They do not match.
- Export it from the keychain access using below steps:
- Click System Roots keychain > "Certificates" category > select the DigiCert Global Root G2
- Click File > "Export Items" menu. The "Save As" dialog box shows up.
- Select Certificate (.cer) format.
- Change the file location and file name to ~\temp\DigiCert_Root_CA.cer.
- Click Save > click Finish
- The selected certificate will be exported into the specified file.
- Install it on the NS and link the intermediate certificate and test it.
Problem Cause
- The wrong root certificate was installed (serial mismatch).
