Description
- Logon to VDAs on Server 2012 R2 is slow , reconnecting is also same.
- Issue only affects VDA software installed on server 2012 R2.
Resolution
Implement the GPO caching by enabling the below registry keys
1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\GroupPolicy
Name: GpoCacheEnabled
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\GroupPolicy
Name: CacheGpoExpireInHours
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 5
Problem Cause
The issue is caused because of WMI Filtering getting applied on the VDA servers.Issue/Introduction
