Instructions

To add the domains to the Citrix AutoDiscovery Service for Citrix Endpoint Management. As we all know, the procedure for adding the domains to Auto Discovery Servers has been changed and we have made this automated by giving access to customer’s themselves through  https://adsui.cloud.com/  portal.

Please find the steps below to add the domains successfully to the ADS portal.
 

1. Click on Add Domain and add it.

 
 

1. Copy the DNS token and click on “I’ll update later”. Add the DNS record as TXT in the DNS server. If you would like to see a sample on how to add the TXT record please visit : https://in.godaddy.com/help/add-a-txt-record-19232 (only if the DNS server is on godaddy). It is almost similar to other vendors as well.

 

 

1. Once domain is publicly available and do a DNS check from the same page and you can see the following. Click on "Add ADS" and add the details.

 
 

1. Please use the follow commands to ensure that the customer has added the OTP (TXT DNS Records) to all domains.

       Linux/Mac: dig -t txt domainname.com
       Windows: NSLookup.exe -q=TXT domainname.com
       You should be able to find the below token and verify if it is the same on the xenmobile tools site.
 


 
      This shows that the ADS record is added successfully to our Autodiscovery database.
 
To verify if it is correctly done – go to the following URL: https://discovery.cem.cloud.us/ads/root/domain/{domain}/  (change the domain and check accordingly).
